KebbeK Skateboards flow rider Carlos Salmeron lives and studies in Granada, a city in southern Spain’s Andalusia region. To general public, Granada is more known for its medieval architecture, especially the Alhambra palace. Apparently it’s the most visited attraction in Spain.
The city is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, area reach with great runs. If you ever decide to visit the Alhambra, don’t forget to bring your board with you.
During wintertime, there’s often rain and snow in Granada but Carlos easily finds the comfort on the ever sunny Costa del Sol that’s only a short drive away.
That’s where the spot from the video is. And it’s amazing. Simple, fast, with one of the best views around. As you can see in the video, the run has two lanes going down so you’re safe to go fast.
However, there’s often really strong winds there that make this run really sketchy as the speed you can reach is around 100kph.
The local roller skating crew knows about it; “No, no…It’s dangerous in this wind”, once told me my friend Germain who lives nearby. Of course we sent it and it really was quite sketchy. I’ll skip that next time, but I’m not so sure about dr. Carlos :)
Next to the future generation of doctors and KebbeK, he reps Stell & Couver Board Shop and Urethane Burners.
