Blood Orange: Bricks or Coconuts

Blood Orange: Bricks or Coconuts

The islands of Hawai’i have long been a fabled mecca for all kinds of skateboarding and their landscape is as amazing as its local skaters.

The islands of Hawai’i have long been a fabled mecca for all kinds of skateboarding and their landscape is as amazing as its local skaters.

However, there’s one road more remote and less travelled than the others, and it’s possibly the burliest of them all.

We’d only heard of it through passing stories from friends and locals of other islands. This single road runs alongside a massive canyon with glimpses into the island’s dramatic interior.

The boys set out with spirits high and minds focused on tackling the numerous sections of the mountain wondering what they’d find on the island – bricks or coconuts?

Riders featured in the video are Will Clay, Ryan Bishop, Ryan Gottlieb and Patrick Welsh.

At first it was a goal to make a great bushing for Caliber Trucks. Then we decided we liked them so much that we should offer them as aftermarket products for everyone to enjoy (no matter what truck you ride). After getting a great response for our bushings, we decided to develop premium aftermarket skateboard accessories including griptape, slide gloves, hardware, and wheels among other things.
