Some of the Root Longboard’s boards are already well known for their unique design and unconventional concave. Combined with “voodoo style” graphics done by the owner Alex Dietrich himself, they are as much enjoyable to look at as they are to ride.

Some years ago, like Alex says, he was playing around with a finish and came up with some really cool looking stuff, a burnt wood style. Since then, he already built some boards featuring this finish style, but those were only few.

To cheer you up as the storm clouds are getting ready to throw down some snow, he decided to release a special limited edition called “Burnt Wood Series”. He promises to build only 26 of these boards this season, so make sure you grab one as soon as possible. Don’t count on Santa, pre-order via their email is your best chance to get it.

You can choose from these models: Infinto, Satyr 89, Satyr 100, Satyr DT, Waranga and Shark 92.

Oh… And just so you know, the “Burnt Wood Series” are all hand made and decorated with a flame cutter, which is usually used to cut steel. Pretty cool stuff, right? :)
