You might have already met Gregor “Nussi” Nussbaummüller somewhere on a hill or read about him in one of our recent posts. That dude rocks, both on and off the track. Today he dropped in with another sick video, but this time he’s the one being in front of a lens. The run was filmed by Sebastian Gschaider.
Possible new events by Rollbrett Salzburg
Europe is usually fully packed with awesome events all summer long and it seams like Rollbrett Salzburg might throw additional one or two as well in 2016, in Salzburg’s surroundings in Austria. One of the candidates for a venue is exactly that challenging fast and techy track from the video you just watched. I’m definitely looking forward to get some of it. Keep us in the loop, Nussi!
For me, the cleanest way to get down on roads like these is to try them Stand up! It´s not always the easiest way and sometimes there are a few sketchy moments, but it´s funny and I think it´s important to learn how to handle these situations to improve your skills and get on a higher level! ~ Nussi
The guys over at Rollbrett Salzburg are super stoked about it and so are we. Bring it on!
Easygoinc. Longboards – Downhilla
Nussi’s repping Easygoinc. Longboards, a relatively young longboard making company from Austria which has been on a rise lately. They have a solid team as well. Beside Nussi, Jan Winkler, Mirko Paoloni and Michael Joschenak are there to help them develop, shred and spread the stoke.
Responsible for the production and marketing, Ali, David and Martin started with the idea of building longboards in 2012. “The three free spirits”, as they like to call them self, are dedicated to deliver a high-quality longboards with attention to details at affordable prices.
They’re using some kind of basalt fabric of volcanic origin in their boards to deliver even better strength than with a conventional fibreglass while still providing a desired amount of flexibility. Don’t know what kind of sorcery that is, but it must be working as so far everyone had only good stuff to say about their longboards.
Nussi’s favorite board of choice is the Easygoinc. Downhilla a topmount board designed for speed and stability. It features a radial 8mm drop and flared wheel-wells for maximum wheel allowance and that extra foot lock we all love and need. This 92cm and 25cm wide beauty allows for 9 wheelbase options, from 67.5cm to 71.5cm.
Downhilla, the name of the board explains what it stands for, we put our best Ideas together and designed a directional shape with a smooth radial drop of 8mm. The perfect mix of a mellow concave, a twin-tip rocker and wheel flares at the right position gives your feet a unique feeling. I ride it with Bear Kodiak trucks and Boss Hawgs Wheels, in my opinion a awesome Freeride Setup! ~ Gregor “Nussi” Nussbaummüller
Of course, you can order a deck only, but if you are down for getting a complete, you’ll be happy to know that in their shop they offer Caliber or Bear trucks and Hawgs or Blood Orange wheels as well.
